The Princess Royal Hospital NHS Trust had experienced operational difficulties and reduced efficiencies in meeting the load profile with
their existing boilers. The Trust decided that Contract Energy Management would provide them with an ideal solution enabling them to
focus on their core service provision - patient care.
MCL Energy removed the Trust's existing coal firing steam boilers, replacing them with modern high-efficiency gas fired units, installing control & metering without disruption to hospital services. The project was funded in full by MCL Energy.
