Summary

Following a successful trial across 3-sites in Yorkshire initially back in 2019-20, our client has extended this to incorporate an additional 5-sites to total 8-sites nationally. 

The Solution

The three-year contract incorporates monthly PPM’s, annual strip downs, combustion and 24-7 callout response alongside pipework and installations. As is fairly typical for any Company in this specialist sector it was becoming increasingly difficult to resource and provide internal support for the boiler plant and associated systems so the Head of Engineering along with the internal team [Procurement/Energy & Assets] went through a thorough competitive tender process during the start of the current pandemic and this resulted in the contract award towards the end of 2020. We are committed to improvement in overall plant reliability along with potential burner/boiler upgrades.
